DIGITAL EDUCATION APPLICATIONS AND APPLICATION SOFTWARE 

Digital education apps refers to any application program that can be used by a smartphone , computer , tablet or any smart gadgets to perform useful tasks . Technology allows for  immediate availability to information which is why technology is paramount in the classroom. Computers ,smartphones and tablets are vital for learners and educators in creating a virtual classroom. A virtual classroom contributes to a meaningful learning , makes teaching easier , meets the special requirements of learners as individuals .Application software is the program that performs specific tasks of the user. 

Information communication technology (ICT) has transformed teaching and learning approaches by allowing teaching and learning to happen anywhere and anytime. Digital whiteboards have replaced traditional whiteboards . Educators get to take advantage of technology by using videos, animations, presentations and diagrams to make their classrooms interactive and promotes active learning. on that allows teaching to occur anywhere and anytime and maximizes learning outcomes. Educators should analyze what learning outcomes they want their learners to take away when the subject has been completed then choose apps that are linked to their subject and will help maximize  learning outcomes that are successful. Since technology has given a platform for many innovations , there are many educational apps so choosing applicable apps to your subject is important .

Teachers should make sure learners have access to the required ICT , as learners come from different backgrounds thus proving those who don't have with tablets and computers and provide clear instructions of how to use the apps.

Applications that can be used as a communication medium are Telegram and Whatsapp . Then education apps that can be used are Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams , Kahoot and Khan Academy can be used to make the classroom simpler and assist in effective communication. These Apps can be used for homework activities , class activities and projects. 

Teacher can watch YOUTUBE and attend online workshops such as Udemy and classes to help them with training of digital apps and information communication technologies
